Description

Years of conflict, flooding and general degradation of roads have left much of Cambodia's road infrastructure in much need of improvements. The project, largely funded by JICA, aims to increase connectivity and contribute to the development of the Mekong region, and more generally Cambodia as a whole. The initiative is intending to increase logistics efficiency and transportation capacity of National Road No.5, which connects Phnom Penh Capital and the Thai border.
