Description
The Moscow-Kazan High Speed Railway will connect the Russian capital to Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, passing through Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod and Cheboksary. It plans to reach speed up to 400km/h, and will cut traveling time from 14h7' down to 3h30'. The Moscow-Kazan section may later be extended to China, via Kazakhstan. The average annual passenger traffic is estimated at 195 mln people. The Moscow-Kazan High Speed Railway’s total length will stand at around 770 kilometers.
