Description
This facility at the Haifa Bay is designed to handle 1.86 Million TEU per year. The Chinese company, Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) will operate the facility and has a 25 year contract to do so. The winning bid by SIPG reflects the growing commercial ties between Israel and China.
